Still Cold
Still bitterly cold. Was supposed to go to a braai (South African barbecue) tonight but we have wisely decided to order take out. KFC or pizza (she has two young boys). Its so cold I don't think I care what we eat.

Grilled cheese sandwiches and Tomato soup make the coldest days a little bit warmer
The temperatures you mention in my opinion are ideal for outdoors. I would love it if it were like that all the time. I can definitely see though how it could get unpleasant indoors if you had no heating system, especially at night. You might want to look into getting a space heater for times like these.
@UR_MUSE - One of the other Xangans said the same thing about it being nice weather. At least the wind has died down. That is what made it really cold.

Yes, with wind that temp IS cold. If you stand next to the grill maybe you could keep warm.
Pizza is good too but how do they serve it there? I know with some of these chain restaurants they have slightly different menus depending on the culture they are selling too. McDonald's in England sells mutton burgers.
So how cold is it? I am anxious to know. It is to be 98 degrees fehrenheit here today with the heat factor of over 105. We think that is insufferable.
Somehow I think our perspectives might be different.
